Getting There

  • Public Bus

    From Split, head to the main bus station, which is located near the waterfront. You can easily walk there from the city center. Look for the bus that goes to Omiš or any bus heading towards the mountains and ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest stop to Kotlenice. The journey takes about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the bus stop, follow the signs or ask locals for directions to Mosor. The hike to the top may take about 1-2 hours, depending on your pace.

  • Walking Tour

    If you prefer to hike, you can start from the center of Split and walk towards the Marjan Hill area. This is a popular local spot and a great starting point. From there, follow the trails leading out of the city towards the Mosor mountain range. It’s a longer trek, approximately 10-12 kilometers, so wear comfortable shoes and bring water and snacks. The views along the way are spectacular!

  • Taxi

    You can also take a taxi from anywhere in Split directly to Kotlenice. Simply request a taxi through your hotel or a local service. Tell the driver you want to go to Kotlenice, specifically to the base of the Mosor mountain. The ride should take around 30 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you arrive, look for the trailhead that leads to Mosor.
