Ferry
To reach the Botanical Gardens on Lokrum, start at the Old Town of Dubrovnik. Head towards the Pile Gate, which is the main entrance to the Old Town. From there, walk to the nearby port, known as the 'Port of Dubrovnik' or 'Lapad Port' (it’s about a 10-minute walk). You will find the ferry terminal there. Purchase a ticket for the ferry to Lokrum. The ferry operates frequently, typically every 30 minutes. The journey to Lokrum takes about 15 minutes. Once you arrive at Lokrum, follow the signs to the Botanical Gardens, which are about a 10-minute walk from the ferry dock.
Walking
If you are already staying near the Old Town, you can walk towards the cliffs overlooking the sea, heading towards the Pile Gate. From there, make your way to the ferry terminal. Enjoy the scenic views of the Adriatic Sea as you walk along the shoreline. After arriving at the Lokrum ferry terminal, follow the walking paths through the island, which will lead you directly to the Botanical Gardens.
