Walking
If you are starting from the Pile Gate, walk through the gate and continue straight down the main road (Stradun) towards the Old Town. You will pass by the Franciscan Monastery on your right and the Sponza Palace on your left. Continue walking until you reach the central square, where you will find the Orlando Column. From there, you can explore the nearby shops, cafes, and historical sites within the Old Town.
Public Transport
Take the local bus No. 1A or 1B from any stop in Dubrovnik that services these routes. The buses will take you to the Pile Gate, which is the entrance to the Old Town. Once you arrive at the Pile Gate, simply walk through and follow the main street, Stradun, leading directly into the heart of the Old Town.
Taxi
If you prefer to take a taxi, find a taxi stand or call a taxi service. Ask the driver to take you to Pile Gate. The taxi will drop you off right at the entrance to the Old Town. From there, walk through the gate and follow the main street, Stradun, to explore the Old Town.
Bicycle
If you are renting a bicycle, head towards the Old Town via the road leading to Pile Gate. There are bike racks available near the entrance. Once you arrive at the Pile Gate, park your bike and walk through the gate to enter the Old Town. Follow Stradun to reach the main attractions.
