Car
If you are driving from Hvar Town, head south on D116. Continue on this road for approximately 15 km. You will pass through the village of Vrboska and then Jelsa. After Jelsa, keep following the coastal road until you reach the sign for Ivan Dolac. Turn left at the sign and continue straight until you reach the beach area. There is limited parking available near Plaža Ivan Dolac, so be prepared to park in designated areas.
Public Transportation - Bus
From Hvar Town, catch a bus from the main bus terminal. Look for a bus that heads towards Jelsa or Stari Grad. Buses run regularly, and the fare is approximately 20 Kuna. After arriving in Jelsa, you can take a local bus or taxi to Ivan Dolac, which is about 10 km away. Buses to Ivan Dolac might not run frequently, so check the schedule in advance.
Walking
If you are already in Ivan Dolac village, you can walk to Plaža Ivan Dolac. From the center of the village, head towards the coastline following the signs for the beach. The walk is about 1 km and takes around 15-20 minutes. The path is well-marked and offers beautiful views of the sea along the way.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from nearby areas such as Jelsa or Hvar Town to Plaža Ivan Dolac. The taxi fare from Hvar Town is approximately 200 Kuna, while from Jelsa it should be around 100 Kuna. Ensure you confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey.
