Getting There

  • Walking

    Start from the central square of Hvar, known as Trg Sv. Stjepana. From the square, head north towards the main street, Ulica Dinka Kovačevića. Walk straight along this street until you reach the intersection with Ulica Marija Mirića. Turn left onto Ulica Marija Mirića and continue walking. You will come to a small park on your right. Keep walking until you reach the waterfront promenade, Šetalište put Križa. Turn right here and walk along the promenade, enjoying the view of the sea. Continue along the promenade for about 10 minutes. The Dominican Monastery is located on Šetalište Anđelka Rabadana, which will be on your right. Look for a sign indicating the entrance to the monastery.

    If you are near the Hvar Fortress (Fortica), start by walking down the path toward the center of Hvar. Once you reach the main square, follow the same directions as above. Head north to Ulica Dinka Kovačevića, turn left on Ulica Marija Mirića, and then right onto the waterfront promenade, Šetalište put Križa. The Dominican Monastery will be along this route.
