If you are traveling by car, head towards Vrboska, which is located on the northern side of Hvar Island. From Hvar Town, take the D116 road heading towards Stari Grad and continue until you reach the junction for Vrboska. Follow signs to Vrboska. Once in Vrboska, look for 'Unnamed Road' which leads to STONE AAL Big. The destination is located along this road. Parking is available nearby but may incur a small fee depending on the season.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a bus from Hvar Town to Vrboska. Buses run regularly and the journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Vrboska, you may need to walk approximately 15 minutes to reach STONE AAL Big. Follow the signs for 'Unnamed Road' from the bus station. Be sure to check the local bus schedule for return times as services may be limited in the evening.
Taxi
You can also opt for a taxi from anywhere on the island. Taxis are readily available in Hvar Town and can take you directly to STONE AAL Big in Vrboska. The ride will take approximately 20 minutes and costs around 200 kuna, depending on the time of day and traffic. Always confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey.
Bicycle
For the more adventurous, renting a bicycle in Hvar Town is a great way to explore the island. Head towards Vrboska via the scenic coastal route. The ride is about 10 kilometers and should take around 40-50 minutes. Once in Vrboska, follow the signs to 'Unnamed Road' to reach STONE AAL Big. Be cautious of traffic and ensure you have a map or GPS for navigation.
