Serenity at Park Jelsa: A Tranquil Oasis in the Heart of Jelsa

Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in the center of Hvar town, head towards the waterfront promenade (Riva). Walk along the promenade until you reach the main square (Trg Sv. Stjepana). From the square, take the road leading out of town towards the west, following the signs toward Jelsa. Continue straight until you reach a fork in the road, then keep left towards Jelsa. After about 1.5 km, you will enter Jelsa. Once in Jelsa, follow the signs for the park, which is located along Strossmayerovo šetalište. The park entrance will be on your left; the park itself is well marked.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a quicker route, you can take a taxi from Hvar town to Jelsa. Taxis are available at the taxi stand near the waterfront promenade. Inform the driver that you want to go to 'Park Jelsa' at Strossmayerovo šetalište. The ride takes approximately 20 minutes. Once you arrive, the park will be directly accessible from the taxi drop-off point.

• Public Bus

  From Hvar town, you can take a public bus to Jelsa. Head to the bus station located near the main square (Trg Sv. Stjepana). Buses run regularly, and you can check the schedule posted at the station. The bus ride to Jelsa takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Jelsa bus station, walk straight ahead to reach the main road. Turn left onto Strossmayerovo šetalište, and you will find the park a short distance ahead on your right.
