Car
If you're driving, head towards Motovun, a charming hilltop town in Istria. From the Istrian Y highway (Istranska magistrala), take the exit toward Motovun (exit 61). Follow the signs towards Motovun and then continue on the road leading to Bataji. Once you arrive in Bataji, look for the address: Bataji 20a, 52424, Motovun. Parking is available near Fakin winery; make sure to check for any parking fees.
Public Transportation
For those using public transport, take a bus from major cities in Istria like Pula or Rovinj to Motovun. Bus services are operated by Istria Bus. Once you arrive in Motovun, you will need to take a taxi or arrange for a local shuttle service to Bataji 20a, as public transport does not reach directly to the winery. Expect to pay around 100 HRK for the taxi ride from Motovun to Fakin.
Walking
If you're staying in Motovun and prefer to enjoy a scenic walk, you can hike from the town to Fakin winery. The distance is approximately 3 kilometers and will take about 40 minutes. Follow the road signs leading out of Motovun towards Bataji. Enjoy the beautiful views of the Istrian countryside along the way.
