If you are driving in Istrian Peninsula, head towards the A9 highway. Follow the A9 towards Rijeka. Once you reach Rijeka, follow the signs for the city center. Exit at the 'Rijeka Center' exit and continue straight. After approximately 2 km, you will arrive at Frankopanski trg. The Franciscan Monastery Trsat is located at Frankopanski trg 12. There is limited parking available nearby, so be prepared to look for street parking or a nearby parking lot.

To reach the Franciscan Monastery Trsat via public transport, start by taking a bus to Rijeka. You can catch a bus from various locations in Istrian Peninsula, such as Pula or Rovinj. Once you arrive at the Rijeka bus station, exit and head to the city tram stop. Take tram line 1 or 2 towards the city center and get off at the 'Korzo' stop. From there, walk towards Frankopanski trg, which is about a 10-minute walk. The monastery is located at Frankopanski trg 12, just off the main square.
