Getting There

• Car

  If you are already on Krk Island and wish to explore the town of Krk, simply follow the main road, D102, which connects various towns and villages on the island. From anywhere on the island, drive towards the town of Krk, which is located on the southeastern part of the island. The town is well-signposted, and you'll find ample parking available in designated areas. Note that parking might incur a fee, typically ranging from 1 to 2 Euros per hour, depending on the location.

• Public Transportation

  To reach the town of Krk using public transportation, locate the nearest bus stop on the island. The local bus service connects various towns including Malinska, Njivice, and Vrbnik to Krk. Buses run frequently during the tourist season, approximately every 30 minutes. Purchase a ticket at the bus station or directly from the driver (cash is usually required). A one-way ticket costs about 20 Kuna (approximately 2.50 Euros). Ensure you check the bus schedule for the most accurate departure times.

• Walking

  If you are staying nearby and prefer a leisurely stroll, you can walk to the town of Krk from nearby locations such as Porat or Punat.
