Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving from Rijeka, take the D102 road towards the island of Krk. After crossing the Krk Bridge, continue on D102 until you reach the town of Krk. Follow signs for 'Krk' and 'Aquarium' as you enter the town. Once in the town, turn onto Ul. Matije Gupca, where the Tropical Aquarium is located at number 1. There is typically parking available nearby, but be aware of any parking fees that may apply.

• Bus

  From Rijeka, you can take a bus operated by Autotrans or another local company that services the route to Krk. Buses leave from the main bus station in Rijeka and arrive at the bus station in Krk. The journey takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Krk, it's about a 10-minute walk to the Tropical Aquarium. Head towards the center of town and follow Ul. Matije Gupca to reach the aquarium.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more direct route or are traveling with a group, consider taking a taxi. You can easily find taxis in Rijeka or at the bus station in Krk. The fare from Rijeka to Krk is around 400-600 HRK, depending on the time of day and traffic conditions. Once in Krk, just instruct the driver to take you to Ul. Matije Gupca 1, where the Tropical Aquarium is located.

• Bicycle

  For the adventurous, cycling from nearby locations can be a scenic option. There are bicycle rental shops in Krk. If you are coming from Malinska or Njivice, follow the coastal paths that lead towards Krk town. Once in Krk, head towards Ul. Matije Gupca. Be cautious of traffic and ensure you follow cycling routes.
