From the organized parking lot in Rijeka Voćanska, walk along the forest path on the opposite side of the road. Follow the path alongside a small stream, gently ascending for about ten minutes until you see a sign indicating the turn towards the cave deeper into the forest. The walk to the cave is short but provides a pleasant immersion in the local environment.

To reach Vindija Cave via public transport, begin at the main bus station in Varaždin. Take a bus towards Donja Voća. From Donja Voca you will need to take local transport to Rijeka Voćanska. Check local bus schedules for the most accurate timings, as they may vary. From the bus stop in Rijeka Voćanska, it's a short walk to the cave site. Bus tickets can be purchased at the Varaždin bus station. Expect to pay a few euros for the bus journey.
