Getting there

Walking

From Makarska town center, head south towards the coastline. Follow the coastal path through Osejava Forest Park towards Nugal Beach. The walk takes approximately 30-45 minutes, depending on your pace. The trail is well-marked but can be rocky in places, so wear appropriate footwear. There are no entrance fees or tolls to access the park or viewpoint.

Public Transport

Take a local bus from Makarska Bus Station towards Tučepi or Podgora. These buses often stop near Nugal Beach. The bus ride takes about 15-20 minutes. Get off at the closest stop to Hotel Dalmacija. From there, follow the signs or ask locals for directions to Nugal Beach and Viewpoint Nugal, a further 15-20 minute walk. A bus ticket costs around 15-20 HRK. Check the return schedule to avoid being stranded.

Taxi

Take a taxi from Makarska town center to the edge of Osejava Forest Park, as close to Nugal Beach as possible. From there, walk the remaining distance to Viewpoint Nugal. The taxi ride will take approximately 10 minutes, costing around 65 HRK, based on a 5km ride. Note that taxi fares can be higher during peak season or at night.
