Car
If you're traveling by car, make your way to the D120 road in Sobra, which is the main route leading to Veliki Grad. From anywhere on the island, head towards Sobra. Once you reach Sobra, continue on D120, and you will find Veliki Grad directly along this road. The total drive should take around 15-20 minutes depending on your starting point.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, check the local bus schedules that run between major points on Mljet Island and Sobra. Buses are relatively infrequent, so it’s advisable to plan ahead. Once you arrive in Sobra, exit the bus and head towards the D120 road. Veliki Grad is a short walk from the bus stop, approximately 1 km along D120, taking about 15 minutes to reach.
Walking
If you're already in Sobra and prefer to walk, you can reach Veliki Grad by following the D120 road. The distance is about 1 km, and it should take you roughly 15-20 minutes. Walk towards the northwest along D120, and you will see signs directing you to Veliki Grad.
