From Opatija, head to the main bus station located at Trg Slobode. Look for a bus that goes towards the town of Matulji. Once you’re on the bus, you will want to stay on until the Matulji bus stop. Here, you will have to transfer to a bus heading to Črni Kal. Confirm with the driver or bus schedule that this bus is heading to Črni Kal. After approximately 20-30 minutes, you will arrive in Črni Kal. Once you disembark, walk towards Hrastovlje, which is about a 15-minute walk down the main road. You will see signs directing you to the Cerkev sv Trojice as you approach the village.

If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from any location in Opatija. Simply ask for a taxi from your hotel or find a taxi stand nearby. Provide the driver with the address 'Hrastovlje 19a, Črni Kal.' The drive will take approximately 30-40 minutes depending on traffic.
