Getting there

Walking

If you are starting from the center of Opatija, head towards the seafront promenade known as Lungomare. Walk along the promenade heading west until you reach the Hotel Kvarner. From there, turn left onto Ul. Maršala Tita. Continue walking for about 200 meters. The Maiden with the Seagull statue will be on your right, directly across from the Opatija beach.

Public Transport

Catch a local bus that runs along the coast. Look for the bus stop nearest to you, and take a bus heading towards Lovran or Ičići. Inform the driver you want to stop at the Maiden with the Seagull. The bus will drop you off within a short walk of the statue. After getting off, walk towards the coast, and you will see the statue directly ahead.

Bicycling

If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local rental shops. Start on the Lungomare promenade and cycle west. You will have a beautiful view of the coastline as you ride. Continue until you reach the Hotel Kvarner, then turn left onto Ul. Maršala Tita. The Maiden with the Seagull will be a short distance ahead on your right.
