If you are starting from the center of Opatija, head towards the main promenade along the Lungomare. Walk along this scenic coastal path until you reach the Hotel Kvarner. From there, turn right onto Ulica Maršala Tita, and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Nova cesta. Turn left onto Nova cesta, and keep walking for about 10-15 minutes. The American Gardens will be on your right at Nova cesta 195, marked by beautiful greenery and park features.
