Car
If you are traveling by car, make your way to the town of Ston, located on the Peljesac Peninsula. From the center of Ston, head southwest on D414 road towards the Kaštio Fort. You will see a sign for the parking lot shortly after leaving Ston on your right. The parking lot is conveniently located at the address Parking lot, D414, 20230, Ston. Parking is typically free or may incur a small fee, so be prepared with some kuna just in case.
Public Transportation
For those relying on public transportation, check the local bus schedules for routes that go to Ston from major cities like Dubrovnik or Orebić. Once you arrive in Ston, you can either walk or take a taxi to the parking lot on D414 where you will find the entrance to the Kaštio Fort. The walk from the bus station to the parking area is approximately 1 km and should take around 15 minutes.
Walking
If you are already in Ston and prefer to walk to Kaštio Fort, head southwest on D414 road from the main square. It’s a pleasant walk that takes about 20 minutes. As you walk, enjoy the stunning views of the surrounding area. You will reach the parking lot where the fort is located.
