From any point in Plitvice Lakes National Park, take the D1 road towards the town of Gospić. Follow the D1 for approximately 30 kilometers. Upon entering Gospić, follow the signs for 'Kaniža Gospićka' and turn left onto Kaniža Gospićka street. The Public Institution Velebit Nature Park is located at Kaniža Gospićka 4b, which will be on your left. There is parking available nearby, but please check for any local parking regulations.

If you are using public transportation, you can take a bus from the Plitvice Lakes National Park area to Gospić. Check the local bus schedules as they may vary. Once you arrive at the Gospić bus station, it is approximately a 20-minute walk to Kaniža Gospićka 4b. To reach the park, head west on Ulica dr. Ante Starčevića, then turn left onto Kaniža Gospićka street. The park office will be on your left. Additionally, please check for bus fare costs beforehand, as they may vary depending on the service.
