    From the Slunj bus station, Rastoke is a gentle 10-minute walk. Head north-east, cross the bridge over the Slunjčica river, and follow the road. The village is easily walkable, allowing you to explore its waterfalls and mills.

  • Public Transport

    Buses from Zagreb, Plitvice Lakes, and Karlovac regularly serve Slunj. From Zagreb, the bus journey to Slunj takes approximately 1 hour 40 minutes to 2 hours. A one-way ticket from Zagreb costs approximately 73 KN. From Plitvice Lakes National Park to Rastoke, the bus takes around 30 minutes. Once in Slunj, Rastoke is a short walk from the bus station.

  • Driving

    If driving from Zagreb, take the A1 highway to Karlovac, then follow the D1 road towards Slunj. From Plitvice Lakes National Park, Rastoke is approximately a 30-minute drive. Parking is available near the village, with free parking at the Slunj Tourist Information Hut. Be aware that parking can be limited, especially during peak season.
