Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from Pula's main square, Trg Portarata, head southeast towards the waterfront. Walk along the beautiful Riva promenade for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with Flavijevska ulica. Turn left onto Flavijevska ulica and continue walking until you see the entrance to the Roman Theater on your right at Herculov prolaz 1.

    Starting from the Pula Arena (the amphitheater), exit the arena and head northeast on Flavijevska ulica. After about 5 minutes of walking, you will reach the intersection with Herculov prolaz. Turn left onto Herculov prolaz, and the Roman Theater will be on your left.

    From the Pula Bus Station, take bus number 2 towards the city center. Get off at the stop named 'Trg Portarata'. From there, walk southeast along the Riva promenade for about 10 minutes, then turn left onto Flavijevska ulica until you reach Herculov prolaz 1 where the Roman Theater is located.

    If you are near the Historical Museum of Istria, head south towards the city center. Continue straight for about 7 minutes until you reach the intersection at Flavijevska ulica.
