Start from the main square in Rovinj, Trg Marsala Tita. Head southwest towards the waterfront promenade, known as the Riva. Once you reach the Riva, follow it along the coastline until you reach the end where it transitions into a gravel path. Continue on this path, which will lead you past several smaller beaches and scenic views of the Adriatic Sea.

After about 15-20 minutes of walking on the coastal path, you will encounter a sign for Cisterna Beach. Follow this sign, and veer right, continuing along the path that leads towards the beach area. The path will take you through a nature area before you finally arrive at Cisterna Beach.

Public Transport
If you prefer not to walk, you can take a local bus from the Rovinj bus station. Look for a bus heading towards Valalta or the nearby campsites. Get off at the nearest bus stop to Cisterna Beach. From there, you will need to walk approximately 10 minutes through a forested area to reach the beach.
