If you are starting from the Riva (the waterfront promenade), head east along the promenade. Continue straight until you reach the large square called Trg Republike (Republic Square). At Trg Republike, turn left onto the street called Marmontova ulica. Walk straight along Marmontova for about 5 minutes, and you will see the Croatian National Theater on your left at Trg Gaje Bulata 1.

From Split's main bus station, take bus number 18 towards Žnjan. After about 10 minutes, get off at the stop called 'Trg Gaje Bulata.' The Croatian National Theater will be directly in front of you.
