Getting There

  • Public Transport

    From the main bus station in Split, walk to the nearby bus stop located at Trg Franje Tuđmana. Look for the bus marked as 'Split - Solin' (usually bus number 34 or 35). Purchase your ticket from the kiosk or directly from the driver. The bus ride will take approximately 20 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Solin' (ask the driver if you’re unsure). After disembarking, walk along Ul. don Frane Bulića for about 10 minutes. Porta Caesarea will be on your left side.

    If you prefer walking and are up for a longer trek, start from the Riva promenade in Split. Walk northward towards the Diocletian's Palace and exit through the Golden Gate. Continue on Ulica Kralja Zvonimira until you reach the bridge over the river. Cross the bridge and follow the path into Solin. The walk is scenic and will take around 1 hour and 15 minutes. Keep heading straight until you reach Ul. don Frane Bulića. Porta Caesarea will be located along this street.
