Getting There

    If you are starting from the Riva promenade, head towards the eastern end of the promenade. You will see the impressive walls of Diocletian's Palace. Walk through the main entrance, known as the Golden Gate. Once inside the palace, continue straight until you reach the Peristyle, a large open square. The Saint Domnius Bell Tower is located directly adjacent to the Cathedral of Saint Domnius, which you will see on your right.

    From the Split Bus Station or Ferry Terminal, exit the terminal and head towards the Riva promenade. Turn left and walk along the promenade. Continue walking until you reach the eastern end, where you will find the entrance to Diocletian's Palace (the Golden Gate).
