Getting There

    If you are starting from the Riva waterfront promenade, walk towards the eastern end of the promenade. You will see the famous Diocletian's Palace to your left. Continue walking along the promenade until you reach the main entrance to the palace, known as the Golden Gate. From there, head straight into the palace complex and continue straight until you reach the Peristyle, the open courtyard. As you stand in the Peristyle, face the Cathedral of Saint Domnius. To your right, you will see the entrance to the Silver Gate, which leads out of the palace.

    If you are near the Split Bus Station, take a short walk towards the Riva waterfront. Once you reach the Riva, walk along it towards the eastern end where you will find the entrance to Diocletian's Palace (Golden Gate). Enter the palace and walk straight to the Peristyle. From the Peristyle, turn right to find the Silver Gate. This is a pleasant walk, and you will enjoy the sights along the way.
