If arriving by public transport to Split, the main bus and train stations are located near the Riva (waterfront). From there, walk along the Riva towards the Old Town. Enter the Old Town and follow signs to Narodni trg. Alternatively, from the Domovinskog rata station, take bus line 1 to the Hnk Izlaz station, which is about 200 meters away from the Square. The Old Town Hall is located on the eastern side of the square. A single bus fare within Split costs approximately 11-15 HRK.

Taxis are readily available in Split. Instruct the driver to take you to Narodni trg (People's Square) in the Old Town. Due to pedestrianized zones, the taxi might drop you off near the square's perimeter, requiring a short walk to the Old Town Hall. Expect to pay a base fare of 20 HRK, plus 8 HRK per kilometer. A short taxi ride from the main bus or train station to Narodni trg will likely cost between 40-60 HRK.
