Walking
If you are in the center of Trogir, start by heading towards the Trogir waterfront. Walk along the promenade (Obala kralja Zvonimira) towards the direction of the Trogir Bridge. Once you reach the bridge, cross it to enter the mainland. After crossing the bridge, continue straight on the main road (D8) for about 30 minutes until you reach the fork in the road. Take the left fork onto Put Vuka Mandušića. The Barone Fortress will be on your right after a short walk.
Public Transport
From Trogir, you can take a bus to Šibenik. Head to the Trogir Bus Station, located near the city center. Look for the bus to Šibenik, which runs frequently throughout the day. The journey takes about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Šibenik bus station, exit the bus and walk towards the city center. Head straight until you reach the main road, then turn left onto Put Vuka Mandušića. Continue walking for about 15 minutes, and you will find Barone Fortress on your right.
Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, you can cycle from Trogir to Barone Fortress. Start by heading towards the Trogir Bridge, then cross it. After crossing, follow the main road (D8) for approximately 6 kilometers towards Šibenik. As you get closer, you will see signs directing you to the fortress. Turn left onto Put Vuka Mandušića, and the fortress will be on your right. This route is relatively flat and offers beautiful views along the way.
