From the Hvar Town waterfront, walk inland towards the main square; the cathedral is situated on the eastern end of the Pjaca. No costs are associated with this approach.

If arriving by ferry or catamaran from Split or other islands, disembark at the Hvar Town port. From the port, it's a short walk to St. Stephen's Square and the cathedral. Local buses connect Hvar Town with other parts of the island, such as Stari Grad and Jelsa. If arriving by bus, disembark at the Hvar Town bus station, which is located a short walk from the main square. A single bus fare from Stari Grad to Hvar is approximately 27kn. No additional costs are associated with walking from the bus station to the Cathedral.

Taxis are readily available in Hvar Town, especially near the ferry port and bus station. A taxi from Stari Grad to Hvar Town will cost around 250 kn. From either location, request a drop-off at or near St. Stephen's Square, from where you can easily walk to the cathedral. Be aware that the inner part of Hvar town is a car-free zone.
