Getting There

  • Walking

    From the Trogir waterfront (Riva), head northeast along the promenade towards the old town. As you walk, enjoy the view of the boats and the beautiful architecture. Continue straight until you reach the large stone bridge that connects Trogir to the mainland. Cross the bridge and proceed straight into the old town. Once inside, follow the main street (Obala bana Berislav) which will lead you to the central square (Trg Ivana Pavla II). From the square, look for the sign that says 'Gradska vrata'. Walk towards it and take the street leading to Ul. Gradska vrata. The Trogir City Museum is located at Ul. Gradska vrata 4, just a short walk from the square. You will see a small sign above the entrance that says 'Muzej Grada Trogira'.

    If you are starting from the Trogir Cathedral, exit the cathedral and turn right onto Trg Ivana Pavla II. Walk straight for a few meters until you reach the end of the square. Take a left onto Ul. Gradska vrata. Continue walking straight for about 100 meters, and you will find the Trogir City Museum on your right at Ul. Gradska vrata 4. Look for the entrance with the museum sign above it.

    From the Trogir Market (Pazar Trogir), exit the market and head towards the waterfront. Turn left and walk along the promenade until you reach the large stone bridge. Cross over the bridge into the old town. Once in the old town, navigate to Trg Ivana Pavla II. From the square, head towards Ul. Gradska vrata, which is located on the west side of the square. The Trogir City Museum will be on your left at Ul. Gradska vrata 4.
