Getting There

  • Tram

    If you are in the city center, head to the nearest tram station, such as 'Trg bana Jelačića'. Take tram number 11 towards 'Maksimir'. Sit back and enjoy the ride. After about 15 minutes, get off at 'Maksimir' station. From the tram stop, walk towards 'Maksimirski perivoj', which is just a short 5-minute walk. Follow the signs leading to the park entrance.

    From the main bus terminal (Autobusni kolodvor), you can take bus number 109 towards 'Maksimir'. The bus ride will take approximately 20 minutes. Get off at the 'Maksimir' stop. From there, it's a 10-minute stroll to the park entrance. Just follow the road signs to 'Maksimirski perivoj'.

    If you are near the city center and prefer walking, you can stroll to Park Maksimir. Start at 'Trg bana Jelačića', head east along Ilica Street, then turn left onto Križanićeva Street.
