Walking
If you are in the city center, head towards Ban Jelačić Square (Trg bana Jelačića). From the square, walk towards Tkalčićeva Street. This street is known for its vibrant atmosphere and cafés. Continue straight until you reach the end of Tkalčićeva Street, then turn left onto Radićeva Street. Follow Radićeva until you reach the funicular railway station. Take the funicular up to the Upper Town (Gornji Grad). Once you exit the funicular, walk straight and you will find yourself at Strossmayerovo šetalište. The Antun Gustav Matoš Monument is located along this promenade, just a short walk ahead on your right.

You can also take tram number 6 or 11 from the main tram station near Ban Jelačić Square. Board the tram and get off at the 'Tomislavac' stop. From there, walk towards the park (Zrinjevac), and enter the park. Walk through the park until you reach the end where it meets Strossmayerovo šetalište. Turn left and continue walking along the promenade. The Antun Gustav Matoš Monument will be on your left shortly after you turn onto Strossmayerovo šetalište.
