Walking
If you are starting from the Zagreb Cathedral, head north on Kaptol Street towards the Trg bana Josipa Jelačića. Continue straight for about 10 minutes, passing through the picturesque streets filled with shops and cafes. As you approach the square, you will see the statue of Ban Josip Jelačić in the center of the square.
Public Transport (Tram)
If you're near the main train station (Zagreb Glavni Kolodvor), take tram line 6 or 4 towards the 'Črnomerec' or 'Savski most' stops. Get off at the 'Trg bana Josipa Jelačića' stop. As you exit the tram, you will be directly in front of the statue located in the main square.
Walking
From the Dolac Market, which is just a short walk away, exit the market area and head southeast towards the square. Follow the path leading to the main square, and within 5 minutes, you will arrive at Trg bana Josipa Jelačića, where the statue stands.
Public Transport (Bus)
If you're starting from the Zagreb Bus Terminal (Autobusni Kolodvor), take bus line 290 towards the city center. Get off at the 'Trg bana Josipa Jelačića' stop. Once you disembark, the statue will be easily visible as it is a prominent landmark in the square.
