From Band'abou, head northwest on the main road (Willemstad - Band'abou road) towards Westpunt. Continue on this road for about 20 minutes (approximately 15 km). After passing through the village of Westpunt, look for signs indicating Watamula. You will take a right onto a smaller road that leads towards the coast. Follow this road until you reach the parking area near Watamula. Ensure you have cash for potential parking fees, which can vary.
Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, take a bus from Band'abou towards Westpunt. The bus will drop you off in Westpunt. From there, you may need to arrange a taxi for the remaining trip to Watamula, as public transport may not directly reach the site. Make sure to check the local taxi rates beforehand to avoid unexpected costs. The taxi ride from Westpunt to Watamula should take about 10-15 minutes.
