Walking
From the Queen Emma Pontoon Bridge connecting Punda and Otrobanda, head west into Otrobanda. Walk along Breedestraat, the main street, and then explore the side streets branching off to the north and south. The murals are scattered throughout the district, easily accessible on foot. Look for the artwork along Willemstraat and near the Kura Hulanda Museum. No costs are associated with walking.
Public Transport
If arriving at the Otrobanda bus terminal (also known as AWASA), walk north towards Breedestraat. From there, explore the surrounding streets on foot to discover the murals. Bus fares within Willemstad are typically around 1.50-2.50 ANG (Antillean Guilder). The terminal is located next to the underpass.
Taxi/Ride-Share
A taxi or ride-share from a location within Willemstad to the Otrobanda mural area will cost approximately 20-30 ANG. Ask the driver to drop you off near the Kura Hulanda Museum or along Breedestraat for easy access to the murals.
Driving
If driving, be aware that parking in Otrobanda can be limited. Paid parking is enforced from Monday to Saturday between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM, costing 1 ANG per hour. You can pay using coins at the parking meters or via the FlowbirdApp. Consider parking near the Renaissance Mall or the Rif Fort for easier access. Parking is free on Sundays and public holidays.
