Car
If you're driving, start from any point in Scharloo. Head southeast on Scharlooweg towards the intersection with the Emancipatie Boulevard. Turn left onto Emancipatie Boulevard and continue straight for about 1 kilometer. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Avenida de Venezuela. After around 500 meters, you will see signs for Plaza Piar. Follow the signs and park in the nearby parking area. The statue is located at Plaza Piar, and you will be able to see it as you approach.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, you can take bus number 2 or 4 from Scharloo. Board the bus at the nearest bus stop, and ensure you ask the driver to drop you off at Plaza Piar. The bus ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive at Plaza Piar, the Statue of Manuel Carlos Piar will be within walking distance as it is a central landmark in the area.
Walking
If you are near Scharloo and prefer to walk, head towards the waterfront along the Scharlooweg. Once you reach the Emancipatie Boulevard, turn left and walk along the boulevard. Continue until you reach Avenida de Venezuela, where you will see directions to Plaza Piar. The walk will take around 25-30 minutes, and you will enjoy views of the surrounding architecture and waterfront.
