Discover more about Boka Tabla

Shete Boka National Park, meaning 'seven inlets' in Papiamentu, is a 10-kilometer stretch of rugged, wave-exposed coastline on Curaçao's northern end. Established in 1994 to protect sea turtle nesting sites, the park offers visitors a chance to witness the raw power and beauty of nature. The park's main attraction is its series of dramatic inlets, or 'bokas,' each with its unique character. Boka Tabla is the most well-known, featuring an underground cavern where waves thunder in, creating a mesmerizing spectacle. Visitors can descend into the cave via steps cut into the rock and also enjoy panoramic views from the limestone bluffs above. Boka Pistol is famous for its shooting geysers of water, created by waves crashing into the inlet with explosive force. Boka Wandomi features a natural bridge and a small beach. Boka Kalki is a narrow bay where sea turtles sometimes lay their eggs. Two hiking trails allow exploration of the park's diverse landscapes. The Boka Pistol trail leads from Boka Kalki, offering panoramic views. The Boka Wandomi trail meanders along lava hills to the natural bridge. Visitors can also drive through the park, stopping at various viewpoints to admire the scenery. Keep an eye out for wildlife, including iguanas, lizards, birds, and wild goats. The park is open daily from 9 am to 4:30 pm, with the last entry at 4 pm.
