As you approach the water, take a left onto the main road, which is called Avenida de Venezuela. Continue straight for about 300 meters, and you will see the large Governor's Palace on your right. The Statue of Thanks is located right in front of the Governor's Palace at Gouvernementsplein. Look for the statue amidst the gardens.

    If you are near the Otrobanda area, take a local bus heading towards Punda. Get off at the stop closest to the floating bridge (Queen Emma Bridge). Once you cross the bridge on foot, you will find yourself in Punda. Walk straight along the waterfront and then turn left onto Avenida de Venezuela. The Governor's Palace will be on your right side. The Statue of Thanks is located directly in front of the palace at Gouvernementsplein.
