Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, start your journey from the village of Neo Chorio. From Neo Chorio, take the road that leads towards the Akamas Peninsula National Park. Follow the signs for the Blue Lagoon. The roads may be unpaved and bumpy, so proceed with caution. Park your car in the designated parking area near the entrance to the lagoon. There is no entry fee for the Blue Lagoon area, but some parking areas may have a small fee (around €2-€5). The journey from Neo Chorio to the lagoon is approximately 15-20 minutes.

• Public Transportation + Walking

  If you are using public transportation, take a bus from Paphos to Akamas Peninsula. The bus will drop you off at the nearest stop, which is usually in the village of Neo Chorio. From Neo Chorio, you will need to walk approximately 3-4 kilometers to reach the Blue Lagoon. The walk will take about 45 minutes to an hour. Follow the signs for the Blue Lagoon and enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring plenty of water.

• Taxi

  For a more direct route, consider taking a taxi from Neo Chorio to the Blue Lagoon. Taxis are readily available in the village, and the ride should take around 10-15 minutes. Ensure to negotiate the fare before starting your journey; it typically costs around €15-€25. The taxi will drop you off at the closest point to the lagoon, from which you may need to walk a short distance.

• Boat Tour

  An exciting option to reach the Blue Lagoon is to take a boat tour from Latchi. These tours often include stops at other scenic spots along the coast. You can book a tour at the Latchi harbor, and prices typically range from €20 to €40 per person, depending on the duration and inclusions. The boat ride to the Blue Lagoon takes about 30 minutes, and you will be dropped off right at the lagoon, allowing you to enjoy the crystal-clear waters without the hassle of walking.
