Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Paphos. Head northwest on the A6 highway towards Peyia. After about 20 minutes, take the exit towards Peyia. Follow the signs to Peyia village. Once in Peyia, continue on the road until you reach Avakas Gorge Road. Turn right onto Avakas Gorge Road, and follow it for approximately 3 km until you reach the entrance of the Avakas Gorge Nature Trail. Be aware that parking is available near the trailhead, but may incur a small fee.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a bus from Paphos to Peyia. The bus stop is located near Paphos Harbor. Once you arrive in Peyia, you will need to take a taxi to Avakas Gorge Nature Trail as there is no direct bus service to the trail. The taxi ride will take around 10 minutes and should cost approximately €10-€15. Make sure to confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey.

Walking
If you are already within walking distance from Peyia, you can walk to Avakas Gorge. From the center of Peyia, head towards Avakas Gorge Road and follow the road signs. It is approximately a 5 km walk, which will take around 1 to 1.5 hours. Be sure to wear appropriate footwear and carry water, as the walk can be quite hot during the summer months.
