    If you are driving from Avakas Gorge, head back towards the main road, which is the B7. Once you reach the B7, turn left and continue straight for approximately 5 kilometers. You will see signs for Peyia. Follow the signs to Peyia and then look for signs directing you to Agios Georgios Pegeias. After about 10 minutes of driving, you will reach the area of Agios Georgios Pegeias. Look for parking options near the coast, as parking is available just a short walk from the beach.

  • Public Transportation

    For those using public transport, start by finding a bus stop near Avakas Gorge. You will need to take a bus heading towards Peyia. Once on the bus, inform the driver that you want to get off at Agios Georgios Pegeias. The bus ride will take approximately 20-30 minutes depending on stops. After arriving at Agios Georgios Pegeias, follow the signs towards the beach; it is a short walk from the bus stop to White River Beach.

  • Walking

    If you are already in the Avakas Gorge area and prefer to walk to White River Beach, it is a scenic but longer trek. Start from the entrance of Avakas Gorge and head towards the main road (B7). Once you reach B7, turn left and continue walking towards Peyia. It is approximately 5 kilometers, which can take around 1-1.5 hours on foot. Once you reach Peyia, follow the signs to Agios Georgios Pegeias, and from there, the beach is a short walk away.
