Sunbeds and umbrellas are available for rent, and lifeguards are on duty from April to October, ensuring a safe environment.One of the unique aspects of Makronissos Beach is its proximity to the Makronissos Tombs, an ancient archaeological site with well-preserved burial sites dating back to the Hellenistic and Roman periods.     Public Transport

    From Ayia Napa, take bus route 101 or 102 towards WaterWorld Waterpark. The bus stop closest to Makronissos Beach is 'Agias Theklas 2'. From the bus stop, it's a short walk down to the beach. A single bus fare costs approximately €2-3.

    Taxi/Ride-Share

    From the center of Ayia Napa, a taxi or ride-share to Makronissos Beach will cost approximately €8-€11 and take around 5-7 minutes, depending on traffic.

    Driving

    If driving from Ayia Napa, follow Nissi Avenue westwards. Continue past Nissi Beach for approximately 5 minutes until you reach Makronissos Beach. Free parking is available near the beach, but spaces are limited, especially after 9 AM. Paid parking is also available nearby. There are no tolls on this route.

    Walking

    From the Ayia Napa town square, walk south towards the Ayia Napa Monastery. Continue straight past the monastery until you reach the main road, Nissi Avenue. Turn left onto Nissi Avenue and walk along it for about 1 kilometer. Then turn right onto Makronissos Beach Road, you will arrive at the beach in approximately 10-15 minutes. Walking from Ayia Napa town center to Makronissos Beach is about 4 kilometers and will take approximately 46 minutes.
