Car
If you are driving from Coral Bay, head southeast on Coral Bay Avenue. Continue straight until you reach the junction with the Paphos to Polis road (A61). Turn right onto this main road and follow it for approximately 7 kilometers. Look for the sign indicating Avakas Gorge Nature Trail on your right. Turn onto Avakas Gorge Road and follow it for about 2 kilometers until you reach the parking area at the trailhead.

Public Transportation
To reach Avakas Gorge using public transportation, start by taking the bus from Coral Bay to Paphos. You can catch the bus from the main bus stop in Coral Bay. Once you arrive at the Paphos bus station, transfer to a bus heading towards Polis. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the Avakas Gorge stop. The bus may not stop directly at the trailhead, so you may need to walk about 1.5 kilometers along Avakas Gorge Road to reach the entrance of the nature trail.

Once you arrive at the parking area at Avakas Gorge, you will find a clear path leading into the gorge. The trail is well-marked and offers stunning views of the natural rock formations and flora. Make sure to wear comfortable walking shoes, and bring plenty of water as the hike can be strenuous.
