Getting there

Car

If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Famagusta (Gazimağusa). Head southeast on Atatürk Boulevard (Atatürk Caddesi) towards Othello Sk. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer. Then turn left onto Othello Sk and you will see Othello Castle on your right. There is usually parking available nearby, but be prepared to pay for parking if required.

Public Transportation

To reach Othello Castle using public transportation, take a local bus from Famagusta city center. Buses frequently run towards the city center from various parts of the district. Board a bus that has stops around the Gazimağusa area. After getting off at the nearest bus stop to the city center, walk towards Atatürk Boulevard. Proceed to Othello Sk by following the directions above. The bus fare is typically around 5-10 lira.

Walking

If you are already in the vicinity of the city center, walking is a pleasant option. From the central square (Namık Kemal Square), head southeast towards Atatürk Boulevard (Atatürk Caddesi). Continue walking straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach Othello Sk. Turn left onto Othello Sk and the castle will be on your right.
