From Kakopetria Village, start by heading southeast on the main road (Route E912) towards the village of Lagoudera. After approximately 10 kilometers, keep an eye out for a sign indicating the Monastery of the Virgin Mary of Arakas. Turn left onto a smaller road leading uphill. Continue for about 1 kilometer until you reach the monastery. There is parking available near the entrance.

While public transportation options are limited, you can take a bus from Kakopetria to the nearby village of Lagoudera. Check the local bus schedule for times (buses may run infrequently). Once in Lagoudera, you can walk or take a taxi to the monastery, which is about 2 kilometers away. The taxi fare should be around €5-€10.
