From the main square of Kakopetria (Plateia Kakopetrias 2), the entrance to Old Kakopetria is approximately a 2-minute walk. Head southwest, crossing the Klarios River via the main bridge. Once across, turn immediately right onto the cobblestone pathway that leads into the heart of the old village. The path is mostly flat, with a gentle incline as you enter the village. Keep an eye out for the traditional stone houses and the Linos Museum as you make your way into the old quarter.

If arriving by car, parking is available in the modern part of Kakopetria, near the main square. From the parking area, follow the walking directions to reach Old Kakopetria. Parking near the main square is typically free, but availability may be limited during peak tourist season. Several hotels in Kakopetria also offer parking for guests. Be aware that parking within the narrow streets of Old Kakopetria is extremely limited and generally not permitted for visitors.

If arriving by bus (route 405 from Nicosia), disembark at the Kakopetria Square 2 bus stop. From there, follow the walking directions to reach Old Kakopetria. The bus fare from Nicosia to Kakopetria ranges from €2 to €5. The bus journey takes approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes. The bus stop is conveniently located near the entrance to the old village, making it an easy and accessible option for those using public transport.
