If you are traveling by car, start by heading toward the village of Arapköy (Arapköy 99390). From the main road in Karpas Peninsula, take the exit towards Arapköy. Once you reach the village, follow the signs for Buffavento Castle. The road leading to the castle is well marked, but be prepared for some steep and winding sections. After about 7 km, you will reach a parking area near the base of the castle. Note that there is no parking fee, but make sure to arrive early as spaces can fill up quickly.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a bus to the nearest town, which is usually Dipkarpaz. From Dipkarpaz, you will need to hire a taxi to get to Buffavento Castle, as public buses do not go directly to the castle. The taxi ride will take approximately 30 minutes and cost around 20-30 Turkish Lira, depending on your negotiation skills. Once you arrive at the castle, be prepared to hike up to the fortress itself, as it is situated on a hilltop.
