Driving
From Nicosia, take the B9 southwest. This will become the A9 motorway. Exit left at the Anthoupoli junction onto the E903. Continue for approximately 16km. Follow signs towards Mitsero village. Once in Mitsero, follow signs for Kokkinolimni. Parking is available at the top of the hill near the mine entrance. Note that the road to the lake is closed, so a short walk is required from the parking area. Be aware that the road leading to the parking area can be unpaved and rough in places.

Taxi/Ride-Share
From Nicosia, a taxi or ride-share to Kokkinolimni will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Agree on a fare beforehand, as meters may not be standard. Expect to pay around €30-€40 for a one-way trip. The driver can drop you off at the parking area near the mine entrance, from where you can walk the final distance.

While public transport directly to Kokkinolimni is limited, you can take a bus from Nicosia to Kokkinotrimithia (Line 405). From there, you would need to take a taxi to Mitsero and then to Kokkinolimni, adding to the overall travel time and cost. The bus from Nicosia to Kokkinotrimithia costs approximately €2-€3. The taxi from Kokkinotrimithia to Kokkinolimni would be an additional €20-€30. This option is less convenient and more time-consuming than driving or taking a taxi directly from Nicosia.
