From Kyrenia Harbour, head east along the waterfront promenade towards the old town. As you walk, enjoy the view of the harbor and the boats. Continue straight until you reach the Old Town gate, which is marked by a large archway. Pass through the gate and follow the cobblestone streets. The castle will be visible on your right as you approach the end of the old town area.

Once you are in the Old Town, look for signs pointing to Girne (Kyrenia) Castle. Keep walking towards the castle, which is about a 10-minute walk from the Old Town gate. The path is well-marked, and you will see the castle walls rising above you. The entrance to the castle is located on the southern side. Please note there may be a small entrance fee, usually around 5 Turkish Lira, so be prepared to pay in cash.
