If you are in the center of Lapta, start walking towards the main road, known as the Lapta Main Street. Head northwest until you reach the intersection with the Silivritepe Yolu road. This should take you approximately 15-20 minutes on foot. Once you reach the intersection, turn left onto Silivritepe Yolu. Continue walking for about 1 kilometer (approximately 15 minutes) until you see the Historic Tank located on your right side, at the coordinates 84HR+3GG. Keep an eye out for the tank, which is a distinctive landmark.

From any point in Lapta, you can catch a local bus heading towards Kyrenia. Look for buses marked with 'Girne' or 'Kyrenia' at the nearest bus stop. The bus ride should cost around 3-5 Turkish Lira and will take about 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. Ask the driver to let you off at the stop closest to Silivritepe Yolu. After getting off, walk along Silivritepe Yolu for about 10 minutes; the Historic Tank will be on your right. Ensure you have small change for the bus fare.
